Tracey Bordeaux-Thomas resides on the east coast in Wilmington, NC. Tracey pursued a career in modeling, where she learned a great deal about the fashion and beauty industry. She spent three years traveling to premiere hotspots in the Caribbean expanding her portfolio in print work. She also spent two years with Venus Swimwear Internationals. After doing print work in Orlando Florida with Venus Swimwear, she then returned to the
Carolinas to receive the Title of Miss Hawaiian Tropic, NC. After receiving her title this lead her back to the International level in Hawaii. Tracey then pursued several print work jobs from her experience. It was this experience that sparked her interest in a “behind the scenes” aspect of the hair industry. After all, she did have some of the best in the modeling industry to take notes from.
With a deep understanding in the beauty industry and what it takes to be glamorous, Tracey set her heart on becoming a stylist. She began her training in 2003 and since that time has grown and flourished as an independent stylist. Tracey enjoys every aspect of the hair industry including styling, coloring, cutting and last but certainly not least, being an extension specialist. She has also vested experience in make up application for photo shoots and bridal party’s.
As evidence of Tracey’s escalating talents and abilities as a stylist her cliental has persevered to great measures and her reputation remains impeccable. Her education and knowledge of the hair industry has been broadened with her training in Divine’s, Keune, EISS educational training, Beth Minardi Color Education, Kerastase,Bumble and Bumble, Shuemera, Wella Accents Color Classes, Wella Advanced Education, Socolor Extensive training, Martin Parson Updo, Balmaine Hair Extentions, Hair Dreams Hair Extentions, and Great Lenghts Extentions, just to name a few. Tracey is also proud to add to her portfolio clients such as Mrs. North Carolina United States, Nicole Hinson 2008 as well as the newly crowned Mrs. North Carolina, United States, Dawn Brinkley 2010. Tracey still travels frequently to attend educational seminars keeping up to date with the latest techniques and styles in the hair fashion industry.
